Here's my house.  I've lived here for the past 11 years with my husband.  Right now my father, one dog and two cats have joined us.

What kind of house is this?  MLS called it a cape cod with an English basement, but it doesn't look like a typical cape cod.  Folk Victorian with a gable front and a wing, without the spindle work?

It was built in 1985, and I believe we are the fourth owners.  

What is this blog about? It's my personal record about life in American suburbia. Mid-Atlantic, east coast to be more exact.
